Without an address you cannot do many important things
If you have no permanent home address, you are not registered with your municipality. Without that registration you cannot get benefits, health insurance, a passport or a digital ID.
That is what the briefadres is for: an address where you can receive post when you have no permanent home. Often you are entitled to one, but applying for it is hard. Rajto was set up to let people get what they are entitled to, starting with getting a briefadres in Amsterdam.
